Lakeland Folding Bamboo Lap Tray

For TV dinners, working on your laptop in an armchair, or that luxury of luxuries, breakfast in bed, you can’t beat a made-for-the-job lap tray to prevent cornflakes in the bed covers and toast crumbs on the sofa. And even better, this one is made from eco-friendly bamboo so your conscience will stay as clean as your upholstery.

With fold-down legs to lift it up to sit over your lap and raised sides to stop plates, bowls and cups from falling off, it also has side handles so you can move it around easily.

Wipe clean.

About bamboo

Technically a grass, bamboo shares many of the properties of wood. Dense, durable and water-resistant, its pale, multi-layered good looks are appearing in more and more homes as furniture, flooring and for kitchen storage. Not just good-looking, bamboo is very hard-wearing, shrugging off stains and cut marks, which makes it ideal for kitchen chopping boards. Fast-growing and unfussy about where it grows, bamboo is the ultimate sustainable wood source, growing to maturity in just three to six years and providing a steady income for its growers – so it’s a great alternative to traditional, slow-growing timbers which can take decades to mature.
