Brabantia Foldable Laundry Basket with Bamboo Rim 40L

Laundry baskets can take up an awful lot of room – especially when they’re empty. That’s where the Brabantia Foldable Laundry Basket comes in. With soft fabric walls in a versatile shade of grey, and a slim bamboo rim to hold its structure, this laundry basket folds flat, meaning it can be tucked away neatly when you’re not using it. (Imagine not having to see an empty laundry basket lying around the house!)

There are gaps in the fabric under the bamboo at the top for your hands to slot comfortably into, so you can get a really good grip on the rim. And it’s also incredibly lightweight, unlike a lot of bulky baskets. The fabric has a water-resistant coating that makes it suitable for wet and dry laundry, and it’s large enough to carry a full load.

About bamboo

Technically a grass, bamboo shares many of the properties of wood. Fast-growing and unfussy about where it grows, bamboo is the ultimate sustainable wood source, growing to maturity in just three to six years and providing a steady income to its growers – so it’s a great alternative to traditional, slow-growing timbers which can take decades to mature.
